Ministries God Has Blessed Us With

Below is a list of some of the ministries and a short description of the ministries that God has entrusted and allowed us to endeavor in. We cherish all of your prayers, contributions and co-laboring. We can not do this alone and need the prayers and support of God's people to keep these ministries going. Our goal is that God will be glorified and lives will be changed.

Church Planting:

As the Lord leads and opens doors, we begin indigenous local New Testament churches throughout America, Latin America, Africa, Or any location needing help forming a local body of believers.

Youth Camps: 

Through the summer months S.L.M. offers youth camps, training teens in: bible lessons, soul winning, sportsmanship and Christian integrity. 

Temporary Missionary Housing:

S.L.M. offers mission housing to missionaries on furlough, pastors or preachers that might have an illness, need or just needing rest and relaxation. Just call and reserve an apartment and leave the rest to us! 

Prison Ministry:

Every week we preach and teach the love and redemption of Christ, in local and state prisons. This is in hopes of reaching the incarcerated with the Gospel.

Helping Hands Food Agency:

We offer emergency food to any needy family in our community. This agency also provides clothing and furniture, as it is supplied to us. This resource is also available to our missionaries, elderly church members and parolee's. 

Shining Light Baptist Church:

Our church was established on the S.L.M. property in 2003, as a mission; for the sole purpose of reaching the lost. it also provides a local church for our parolee's and staff.

Rehab and Half-way House:

This mission was established as God lead, after much prayer, and being constantly contacted for help by parolee's and their families. 

Community Outreach:

We have a tremendous hand in our community! Our agency regularly feeds families in emergency situations. Also, every Christmas season we load our horse drawn wagons with food, gifts, toys, bibles, etc. .. then go into the community and give them to anyone with a need. We also include tracts in our gift packages.
